Arsene Wenger has called for Arsenal to make a "double impact" on Saturday by beating European adversaries Liverpool to keep alive their Premier League title hopes.
The Gunners host the Reds for the second time in four days having seen the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final end all square at 1-1.
Before the return leg on Merseyside the two will face off again - and this time with league points at stake.
Arsenal recorded a first league win in six at Bolton last weekend to re-ignite their confidence after seeing both Chelsea and leaders Manchester United overtake them at the top of the table.
However, with key fixtures between the top three to come this month, Wenger knows there is all still to play for.
He said: "For us it is important to win because of the situation in the championship. It would have a double impact - one for the championship and one for the Champions League.
"But my worry at the moment is the championship.
"Some people say it is over but everybody has a different opinion in football. In this case, I have a different one.
"Manchester United play four times away from home, and one of the two times they will play at home, they will play against us.
"It depends on how the games go and how much effort the teams put in - but no win is guaranteed in the Premier League.
"I believe we can still win the title but I believe this is special circumstances. Why? Manchester United are an excellent team but they can still lose points and they have hard games against us and Chelsea.
"I would love to put some more pressure on Manchester United. I feel it is very important to win our game first and therefore we need to be at our best.
"Everything is still possible, of course - but the main thing for us is to win our games.
"Five wins and a draw is a minimum but that means we would have to win at Old Trafford. Six wins would be better."
Wenger maintains he normally does not focus on what may or may not happen elsewhere, but given only six points separate the top three, the Arsenal manager noted: "Now it gets so tight that you have to.
"I never analyse it when we have things in our own hands but this time that is not completely the case so we have to see where things can turn and change.
"It can change much quicker than people think."
Wenger expects Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez to tinker with his line-up for Saturday's match with one eye on Tuesday night.
"I believe they will make changes," said the Arsenal boss. "I am not sure whether Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres will play.
"They have a big squad and a lot of experienced players who didn't play on Wednesday. To my calculation, eight players with big Premier League experience."
Wenger, though, maintained he will look to field as strong a side as possible. However, striker Robin van Persie is out with a thigh problem.
"I will pick a team which can win the game tomorrow," he said.
"I feel we have a good chance in the championship and do not want to miss that."
Although focused on securing a positive result on Saturday, Wenger accepts Tuesday night's second leg of their European tie presents a stern challenge.
"Anfield is special but it will not stop us from playing well," he said.
"I believe the Anfield situation is similar to Milan. The only thing is that they can play a 0-0 - what Milan could not afford.
"I believe Liverpool will do exactly the same in the second leg. They will try to defend well and catch us on the break.
"We will try to play our own game and have a go at them.
"They are a good counter-attacking side now and Gerrard and Torres can create something.
"However, they don't have to come out - but we will focus on us to play without being caught on the counter attack."
