Arsenal 25-man squad list
2010-09-03 13:23:29
Premier League clubs have submitted their 25-man squad lists and, whether they like it or not, that is their lot until the January transfer window.

Under new rules, each squad needs to have at least eight home-grown players in it and a player qualifies for this category if he has spent 36 months or more with a club associated with the English or Welsh FA before his 21st birthday, or the end of the season during which he turns 21.

Any number of Under-21 players of any nationality can be named in addition to the 25.

Arsenal have named a squad of just 20 players, none of whom are British-born. But players such as Nicklas Bendtner and Cesc Fabregas qualify as home-grown because of the length of time they have been at the club.

The Gunners also have an extensive list of over 50 under-21 players, including the likes of Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs.

Manuel Almunia, Andrey Arshavin, Nicklas Bendtner(HG), Maroune Chamakh, Gael Clichy(HG), Denilson, Abou Diaby, Johan Djourou(HG), Emmanuel Eboue, Lukasz Fabianski, Cesc Fabregas(HG), Laurent Koscielny, Vito Mannone(HG), Samir Nasri, Tomas Rosicky, Bacary Sagna, Alex Song(HG), Robin van Persie, Thomas Vermaelen, Sebastien Squillaci.
